Jacqueline Leilani “Honolulu Skylark” Rossetti
Jacqueline Leilani Rossetti a nearly legendary figure in Hawaii's broadcasting history and who had lived for many years in Hilo passed away peacefully at Kaiser Medical Center, Moanalua, on March 20, 2019, surrounded by family and friends. She died of complications from renal disease. She was 65. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl J. Rossetti, Jr. and Margaret N. Mahi. She is survived by her longtime companion Kimo; children; Jarrett (Megan), Kilohana (Carlos), and Makana (Kaylah); six grandchildren: Kahena, Carlos, Matias, Nicolas, Giovanni and Weston, siblings; Farran, Carlene (Jerry) and Carl (Mari). Services and the Celebration of Life for Skylark will be held on O'ahu at the Tom Moffatt Waikiki Shell on Saturday, May 18, 2019. The doors to the Waikiki Shell will open to the public at 5:00 p.m. with the Service and Celebration starting at 5:30 p.m. In Hilo, Hawaii, the Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. Public Visitation: 12:00 p.m.; Celebration: 1:30 p.m.
