ROBERT ALLEN SEARLE, SR. Robert Allen Searle, Sr. went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2019. Affectionately known as "Pops", he was 73 when he succumbed to his combat connected illness, in the presence of his family at their home. He was born in Amherst, Massachusetts but a lifelong resident of Waianae. Pops is a Vietnam Veteran, serving his country for 21 years in the Air Force adding 20+ years in Civil Service. He was a Council member at Waianae Hope Chapel where he attended with his family serving the Lord with joy. He is survived by his wife, Roberta (Waialae); daughter Leilani (Chris) Kerr; sons, Lopaka (Kehau), Kaleo (Mary); daughters Hokulani and Mandy and sons Vincent (Nancy) and Shiloh; 16 grandchildren and 2 great- grandsons; 3 bothers, Paul, John, Richard and 3 sisters, Priscilla, Betty and Mary. Services will be held at the Nanaikapono Protestant Church in Nanakuli on Friday May 31, 2019, beginning with visitation at 8:30a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 9:30- 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
