91, of Honolulu, passed away on May 14, 2019. She was born in Wainaku, Camp 3 to parents, Kiichi and Mitsuru Nakayama. She was recognized for her 40 years of distinguished service as secretary for the 15th Transportation Squadron at Hickam Air Force Base and spent 25 years of retirement enjoying life with her family and close friends. She was a kind and generous person, loved by all who were fortunate to know her, and she will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by husband, Peter, she is survived by her son, Leslie Shinozawa and his spouse, Edwin Guarino, Jr.; sisters, Aileen Sylva and Elsie Ushiroda.
