FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

ISAMU ISOBE
ISAMU ISOBE88, of Wahiawa, passed away peacefully at Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center on April 2, 2019. He was born in Robinson Camp Hawaii on April 20, 1930. He attended Kipapa Elementary School and graduated from Leilehua High School in 1948. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving as a mess sergeant during the Vietnam and Korean Wars. After 20 years of service in the Army, he retired and became a cook and baker at Turtle Bay Hotel. His hobbies included gardening, fishing, and going to Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Isobe; sons, Earl S. Isobe and Dean I. Isobe; brothers, Yoshio and Sadao Isobe; sister, Shizuko Hisamoto; and many nephews and nieces. Warm appreciation to the staff of Kaiser Hospital Moanalua for their caring and support given to Isamu and his family. Services on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary, Mauka Chapel. Visitation 9:00 a.m.; Services 10:00 a.m. Inurnment and Honor Guard Services 11:30 a.m. Casual attire.
