James “Blondie” Masami Okamura
87, passed away on May 9, 2019. He was born on October 4, 1930 in Honolulu Hawaii and attended McKinley High School. He spent much of his life in Manoa Valley. A decorated Korean War veteran who later worked at Quantas Airlines and Toyo's Superette. The youngest of 9 siblings, he is survived by one sister, Yaeko Wasa and nieces and nephews.
