Clarissa Isabelle da Silva
Clarissa Isabelle (Seabury) da Silva, 91 of Kahaluu, passed away on April 13, 2019 at Kaiser Moanalua Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. Clarissa was born on February 16, 1928 to John Valentine and Mary Isabelle (Caldeira) Seabury. She loved playing the piano, cake decorating, crafting and having fun with family and friends. Her witty mind and feisty spirit stayed with her till the end. After graduating from Farrington High School in 1947, she worked at the Cathedral gift shop. She married Adam B. da Silva and moved to Kailua, Oahu where she became a full time homemaker and raised 5 children. She is preceded in death by her husband Adam and her daughter Claire (da Silva) Okudara. She is survived by her sister, Audrey (Howard) Yannell, Children; Harriet (Skip) Horswill, Adam (Benny) da Silva Jr., Bryan (Carlene) da Silva, and Lynn (Herman Kaanaana) da Silva. She also leaves behind, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and her fur friends. Services will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Kailua (Aloha or bright happy attire). Visitation: 9:00 a.m. Mass: 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park Cemetery 12:00 p.m. with luncheon to follow at Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel Lanai from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Flowers can be sent directly to St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Kailua.
