95, of Aina Haina, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019. She was born on August 10, 1923 in Honolulu and grew up in Kakaako. She retired from AMFAC pharmaceutical division after 40 years of service. Husband Takashi Sato died in October 2018 at the age of 98. They were blessed to have celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary together. Edna is survived by daughters Patricia (Jon) Matsuo, Joanne (Melvin) Kam, and Elizabeth Ann (Craig) Nakamoto; grandchildren Scot (Shizuka) Matsuo of Hyogo, Japan, Erin (Eddie) Sim, Stacy (Christian) Fermahin, Andrew Kam, Tani and Alex Nakamoto, and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Lois Ogata of Kaneohe, Doris Hara of Orlando, FL, Eleanor Yano of Honolulu, and Harriet Nishizaka of Irvine, CA. Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Hosoi Mortuary. Visitation at 4pm and memorial service to begin at 5pm. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
