Takaki, two daughters, Sharynne Iwata and Aileen Gentner, five grandchildren, Bryce Iwata, Blayne Iwata, Marla Gentner Bodnaruk, Elizabeth McSherry, Jacqueline Gentner, six great- grandchildren, Madison Iwata, Taylor Iwata, Emma Iwata, Mia Iwata, William Bodnaruk and Margot Fumiko McSherry, three brother, Kiyoichi Nakamoto, Warren Nakamoto and Stanley Nakamoto and one sister, Jean Doi.
