SHARON LEE PRICE 77, of Kailua, left this world on Mother's Day, May 12, 2019, peacefully at home with her dear dog, Bailey. Her smiles, laughter & spirit will remain in the thoughts of many. Raised in Vancouver, WA, she also lived in Portland, OR., the East Coast, Midwest and Cupertino, CA., where she worked in real estate. Moving to Hawaii in the 80's, she opened "Sharon's Serenity", a B&B where she took joy in hosting. Being a gregarious people-person, she made friends everywhere. Sharon is survived by her son, Brian, 57 of Sacramento, stepson, Scott, 56 of Portland, and stepdaughter, Tracy, 51 of Boston; her loving siblings, Judy & Bob, and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. Her life-long best friend, Lee, gave great love & support during her illness. A dedicated AA member for 30+ yrs, about which she was very open, she is survived by many wonderful, supportive member-friends who made a huge positive impact. Her live-in caregiver, Avalena, added quality and time to Sharon's life. Neighbors and friends also showed love with visits, meals, flowers, etc. To all of the above, Sharon's family is very grateful. Sharon generously donated her body to science. No formal memorial is planned now, possibly later, tbd. The family would love her friends to gather as they like, perhaps with her fav snack, vanilla ice cream, while they smile and share warm memories of a much-loved lady.
