81, a retired teacher and coach at Radford High School, passed away on May 15, 2019 at the Queen's Medical Center surrounded by his family. After retiring from Radford High School he also coached at Iolani School and Punahou School. Coaching baseball was his life's passion for fifty-three years. He is survived by his wife, Kay; daughters Lynn Kunishige (Ray), Jill Nii (Michael); and grandson Nicholas. Service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation 4:30 pm; Services 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations may be made in Don's memory to Radford High School Baseball, Punahou School or Iolani School.
