August 22, 1933 ~ May 20, 2019 Beloved wife, mother, and Nana, Carol lived for her family, for nurturing her friends and for her art. Young nurse Carol met her husband, medical student, Edward in Chicago. They married in 1955 as soon as he graduated from medical school. The young couple moved with their young daughter, to Honolulu in 1962 where they lived and raised their family. Carol loved to travel with her husband, to spend time with her children and grandchildren, and to paint. She is survived by her husband, Dr. Edward L Chesne of Honolulu, her three children and five grandchildren. Daughter Lauren Chesne Faulkner of Kailua, granddaughters, Caitlin Chesne Jenners and Anna Christine Chesne Faulkner, both in Colorado. Son Christopher William Chesne of Chicago, Ill, his wife Julie and their children Claire and Will. Son Greig Edward Chesne, of Colorado, his wife Bridget and their son Landin.
