Age 92, of Kaimuki passed away peacefully at his home on May 20, 2019. He was born on January 5, 1927 in Kahuku and worked 53 years at Hawaii Hochi, serving a president for 45 years before retiring in 2012. He is survived by his son Wayne (Luynh); daughters, Ann Yempuku-Otani (Max Otani), Lynn Yempuku (Paul Takekawa); grandson and caretaker Jeremy Otani; and granddaughters Jade Yempuku, Hannah and Mia Takekawa. Funeral Service will be held at the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin on June 23, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. Aloha attire requested.
