Gordon Hunter Kauhiokalani Poire Jr., “Boy”
Poire, Jr. died on June 14, 2019 at his home in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. He was born on January 23, 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was a retired goldsmith, the sole proprietor of the jewelry store "Gordon the Jeweler" for over 40 years. He previously worked at the old Kona Surf, the Ilikai Hotel, and KGMB Studios. He was a member of Kona Masonic Lodge F. & A.M., Aloha Shriners, Royal Order of Jesters, Scottish Rite, and Kona Coast Barley Boys. He is survived by wife Edy Gesaman-Poire of Kailua Kona, daughter Elizabeth "Napua" Poire of Kailua Kona, brother Scott Stevens-Poire of Hawaii Kai, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
