MARY IKUE SASAKI AND FAITH TSUKIKO IRVING
77, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2019. A proud graduate of McKinley High School. She was a retired Secretary to the State of Hawaii Unemployment Administrator, an accomplished Poet and lived more than 30 valiant years with Parkinson's Disease. Mary and her sister Faith, were born and raised in Honolulu, and were residents of Island Nursing Home followed by The Care Center of Honolulu. They are survived by loving nieces, Gayle Kamoto, Arlene King & Merritt Hinton; nephew, Michael Hinton; sister-in-law, Erminia (Richard) Sasaki; brother- in-law, Robert (May) Hinton; 12 nieces & nephews and many great-nieces & nephews. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 29, 2019 at Olivet Baptist Church. Service: 10:00 am. Family request Aloha attire & no flowers.
