80, died on May 19, 2019 in Waipahu. He was born in Honolulu and graduated from Kaimuki High School, Harvard University, and the University of Michigan. He taught and retired from the Los Angeles school system. He is survived by his mother Jane Naeko, sister Shirley A. Matsuo, and brother John M.
