Mark Boiser
Mark Boiser, 72, of Moloa'a, passed away on June 6, 2019 at Straub Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born on January 2, 1947 in Lihu'e. He was a retired lineman for HawaiianTel, a former naval officer, skilled fisherman, and an advocate for the 'aina. He was preceded in death by wife Evelyn Louise Evans Boiser, Parents Philip Boiser Sr., George Kaleiohi Jr., and Juliet Leimomi Ferreira Huddy. He is survived by his partner, Susan Storm, daughters, Maile (Lance Katekaru) Horikawa of Makakilo, Waianela Boiser of Wailua, Caroline Lahela (Buddy) Victorino of Waimea, and Martha Leimomi (Victor Ewulo) Boiser of Moloa'a. His son Howard "Sonny" Sakahara of Wailua, Grandchildren Buddy Victorino, Cody Victorino, Ford Victorino, Nicole Katekaru, Joseph Camelo, Jodie Sakahara and Sonny Boiser, brother Philip "Butch" Boiser of Kapahi, former spouse Charlene "Pinky" Boiser and his best friend (Dog) Fluffy. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 6, at Waika'ea (Lihi) Boat Ramp in Kapa'a, with visitation at 10 a.m. and services at 11 a.m. A FaceBook event titled Mark Boiser Celebration of Life will be live.
