LARRY KENICHI TOKUHARA, SR.
LARRY KENICHI TOKUHARA, SR. 79, of Kapa'a, Kauai, passed away on June 16, 2019. He was the eldest son born to the late Masayo Oshiro and the late Isamu Tokuhara in Makawao, Maui on March 23, 1940. He is survived by his wife - Patricia; sons Larry Tokuhara, Jr. of Mililani and Kevin Tokuhara; daughters Carrie Sumiye of Los Angeles, California and Lee Ann Tokuhara of Honolulu; grandson Jayson Tokuhara of Honolulu; sister Jane Mitsue (Stanley) Yagi of Aiea; brothers Harry Kenji (Sandy) Tokuhara of Honolulu and the late James Yoshio Tokuhara, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Larry was an electrician with R Electric before his retirement and a member of IBEW Local Union 1186. He enjoyed all kinds of sports, going to Las Vegas, and just relaxing with his dog, Koa. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10 am at Jikoen Hongwanji Mission.
