LINDA MCDANIEL HAYDEN AUNTY LINDA 1941-2019 Linda Hayden transitioned peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday June 28th as the sun sank below the horizon. She had been living with advanced Alzheimer's for the past several years, cared for at home by her husband. She has left for the moment her amazing and devoted husband, Jay Hayden, her sister, Candace Bonner, her daughters, Sandra Allen and Lisa McDaniel, her step- children, Ted Hayden and Marion Hayden, her five grandchildren, an aunty, cousins, countless friends and over a thousand keiki (all grown up now) and their families that she touched over the years. Linda was a beloved preschool teacher and co-founder of Seagull Preschool in Kailua, Head Teacher at Flamingo Preschool in Waimanalo, and at Kawaiaha'o Church School in Honolulu. She was also an avid kayaker, lover of the ocean and nature, sweet dog companion, one who laughed often and loudly, an incredibly compassionate friend, an eternal optimist, absolutely beautiful, and a joy to be around. We miss her. A ceremony celebrating her life will be held at her home on Sunday, July 14th, 4pm, at 49-807 Kamehameha Hwy. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
