Surrounded by her family, Yuen Soong Koo Mow passed peacefully at home on Sunday, June 30, 2019. Yuen Soong was born in Chee Hoi, China on June 12, 1926. She had 7 older brothers, who took care and pampered their only sister. On November 1, 1948, Yuen Soong married Edward Lin Hing Mow. Ed brought her home to Honolulu, where they started their family. Yuen Soong worked along side her husband first starting Libby Market then Libby Manapua Shop. They later passed on the business to their children in 1981. During her golden years Yuen Soong and Eddie would travel the world and enjoyed spending time with their grandchildren. Yuen Soong is survived by her children: Cassandra (Frank) Ambriz, Edwin Mow and Regina MowGalletti; grandchildren: Charlton (Veronica) Tupman, Victoria (Benjamin) Richards, Melissa (Andrew) Chun and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband: Edward Lin Hing Mow, daughter and son-in-law: Edwina and Alan Tupman, son: Patrick Mow and son-in-law: Rene' Galletti. Taoist funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Borthwick Mortuary, Vineyard Chapel between 10:00 am to 12:15 pm. Followed by burial at Valley of the Temples Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
