74, of Pearl City, passed away on June 15, 2019, surrounded by his family. He retired as a Supervisor of Electronic Maintenance Shop 2, Ft. Shafter; a Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Hawaii Sashiki Chinen Doshi Kai, Ryukyu Koten Afuso Ryu Ongaku Kenkyuu Choichi Kai, Hawaii Eisa Shinyuu Kai, and a Honorary member of the Raeleens Club. He is survived by wife Charlotte (Kubota), sons, Ryan (Rae Ann), and Todd; mother, Elsie Unten, and siblings, Joyce Ashimine and Wesley (Charlene) Unten.
