Klaus E. Doring, age 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2019, at Tripler Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born January 1, 1937, in Berlin, Germany to Else and Ernst Doring. He worked for Georgia Pacific in South San Francisco, CA for 37 years. He loved nature, animals, fishing, playing games, watching old movies, traveling and singing. Klaus is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Carmen, of Ewa Beach; son, Ernest, of San Diego; and daughter, Patricia (deceased) of Kapolei, his sister Irmgard, and many other loving family members. Klaus and Carmen moved to Hawaii in 2004 to enjoy their retirement years. Klaus will be remembered as a loving husband and father, who lived simply to allow others to live fully.
