Henrietta Tamiko “Tami” Oshiro
84, passed away peacefully on May 22, 2019 in Helena, Montana. Born in Waipahu, Hawaii to Taro and Kameko Arakawa on February 25 1935, Tami was a registered dietician and a teacher at Kaimiloa Elementary School. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James 'Jim'. She had five children, Katherine Oshiro who passed away as an infant, Matthew (Jonelle) Oshiro, Kevin (Nora) Oshiro, Susan (Charles) Schafer, Paul (Ju) Oshiro; grand- children, Lauren (Daniel), Jaqueline, Melissa and Kimberly. She had three siblings, Rodney 'Jun' Arakawa (deceased) (Mary), sisters; Ada (George) Kaneoka and Theodora 'Teddy' Mukai (Robert, deceased). Tami's endless love and positivity is the brightest of lights that warmed our hearts and our lives. She is deeply missed but we take comfort that she lives on in a much better place with our Lord.
