Passed away July 1, 2019. She was born in Huwelo, Maui on June 26, 1922. Raised in Honopo, Maui as a taro farmer. She then moved to Oahu, where she worked at Queens Hospital at the Central Supply department for 36 years. After retiring, she joined the Senior Center, danced hula, traveled to other Islands to dance, did Arts and Crafts. And traveled a lot to the Mainland with other Seniors. Survived by daughters, Barbara Jean K. Maa (Kenneth - deceased), Lynn L. Amaral, Julia Mae H. Shirai (Lloyd), sons, Robert K. Amaral (Wilma), Edmund K. Amaral (Arleen - deceased), 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grand- children, 9 great-great-grand- children. Services on August 6, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial.
