Our beloved Dad passed away on July 13, 2019 peacefully and surrounded by family. At 17, he joined the Navy in Carrier Airgroup 2 on the USS Midway. After flight training at Pensacola, he flew with VT-6, fighter squadron VF-21,and in 1967 was awarded the Air Medal with Transport Squadron 352. He was also an amazing father. This gentle man served his country honorably and with much pride. For anyone who knew him, his true legacy was teaching us how to love unconditionally, by how he lived his life. He was a man of honor. He left us- and truly the world, a better, kinder place. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service THIS Sunday, July 28 at 1 p.m. at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club, 770 Auloa Road, Maunawili, Kailua. Questions: Melanie (808) 225-3575.
