96, of Mililani, died June 16, 2019. Born in North Kohala, Island of Hawaii. He retired from Public Works Center at Pearl Harbor. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years Gladys K. Tomasu-Hanashiro; daughter, Lyanne Hanashiro-Taketa, and dog Spunky. Survived by children; Clayton Sr. (Myrna), Douglas (Beverly), Vilma Young (Robert Sr.), Dee Hanashiro-Lee (Albert Jr.), Donald, Kevin (Stacy), Niles, 15 Grandchildren, 19 Great- Grandchildren, 8 Great-Great- Grandchildren and brother, James (Helen). Visitation 2:00pm, Service 3:00pm at Oahu Cemetery Chapel on August 3, 2019. Internment at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, August 5, 2019 at 11:30am. Aloha attire.
