AURELIA SIMBAHON DECASA
88, of Pearl City, passed peacefully on July 8, 2019. Aurelia was born on October 15, 1930 in Honolulu, Hawaii but was raised in Hilo. In 1945, she met her future husband, Meliton. After the 1946 tsunami in Hilo her family relocated again to Oahu where she married Meliton and raised eight wonderful children. She is predeceased by her husband Meliton, her daughter Audrey (Tom) Maedo, her parents Ricardo and Felicidad (Nadoza) Simbahon, and sister Shirley (Selma). Aurelia is survived by her sons Rogelio (Risalin) of Reno, Nevada, Meliton Jr. (Dee) and Richard Decasa; daughters Dolorita (Roy) Kato, Francine (Blue) Egdamin, Doreen Decasa, and Felicia (Steve) Butala; 12 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; sisters: Philomena Linogon, of Henderson, Nevada, Lucille Ramos, Bertha Cuyong of Henderson, Nevada, Felicidad Asato; brothers: Alfred and Joseph Simbahon. Her beautiful life will be Celebrated on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at Hawaiian Memorial Park in Kaneohe. Visitation: 9:30 a.m., Service: 10:30 a.m.; Burial: 1:00 p.m. Casual attire please.
