Sweeney Akina Ah Siu, Jr.
Sweeney A. Ah Siu, Jr., 83 yrs old from Honolulu, Hawaii passed on July 7, 2019. He was born in Lahaina, Maui on August 29, 1935 and retired from the Honolulu Police Department as the Supervisor of the Vehicle Maintenance Section. He is survived by his wife Beverly; son Damien; 3 daughters: Arcene Mc Shane (Keith), Kathy Ah Siu-Nipp (Ronald), and Laverne Ah Siu-Gaviola; 8 grandchildren: Trinity, Keith, and Arcene McShane: Kristen Konishi (Kevin), Ronald Nipp (Katherine): Michael, Angelina, and Alanna Gaviola: 6 great- grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Emily Kaniho and Ella Kaiama. Celebration of life services will be held on August 2, 2019 at Diamond Head Mortuary, beginning with visitation at 11:30 am and burial at 2:00pm.
