Ellen retired from Duty Free Shoppers at the Honolulu International Airport. She is survived by her husband, Yasuki Teruya, sons, Paul, Jack, David, and Jeffery; Shimabuku siblings in Okinawa; brothers, Kunio and Noboru; sisters, Setsuko Miyagi, Kazuko Miyazato, Shigeko Oota, and Emiko Goya; grand- children, Robert and Gwen Nakamura, Renee Baldanado, Naivi and Tiffany Teruya, and 6 great-grandchildren.
