Sandy passed away peacefully in her sleep. If good people go to heaven, she most certainly is there. Her integrity, honesty, common sense, intellect, loyalty, and sense of humor were appreciated by her loving family and loyal friends. These same qualities also led her to jobs as an executive secretary for the owners and managers of the Halekulani Hotel, C & H Sugar, Conley Dew Realtors, Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties, and John Mullen and Co. She was born in Chicago, graduated from Senn High School and Lake Forest College, where she met her future husband, Bill. They were married in Hawaii in 1962 and began their fruitful life together. They raised three children Alyson Juresich (Mark), Michael Joor (Diana), Suzanna Joor in their Aiea home of 46 years. She was known as Tutu to five grandsons: Kyle Juresich, Bryan Juresich, Cory Juresich, Cameron Juresich, and Eli Joor. She shared her love by generously volunteering her time with infants at Salvation Army Rehabilitation Program. A Celebration of Life - Open House will be held at the home of Bill Joor at 5231-A Iroquois Ave, Ewa Beach, HI 96706 from 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday, August 10th. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the UH Willed Body Program or Salvation Army Family Treatment Services, checks payable to SA-FTS 845 22nd Ave Honolulu HI, 96816.
