FEDERICO GUIRA BADUA
Of Mililani, died peacefully in his home on June 8, 2019, at the age of 87. Originally from Barabar, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte, he immigrated to Hawaii in 1966. He worked for Del Monte Fresh Produce in Kunia initially as a pineapple planter, laborer and in time was the senior heavy-equipment operator. In 1997, he retired after 30 years of service. He enjoyed his retired life. He raised livestock, grew his own produce, butchered cattle, and tinkered around his home. He traveled, hung out with his garden friends, was involved with the San Nicolanious of Hawaii, faithfully attended church, enjoyed his family, and doted on his three grandsons. He loved life. He loved his family. He loved God. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Florida Duldulao Badua; Children: Nancy (Mark) Burnett, Vilma (Guy) Atiburicio, and Froilan (Marcelle) Badua; Grandsons: Caleb, Joshua, and Evan. Brothers: Policarpo (Teresa) Badua and Rosito (Cely) Badua of Florida. Services will be: August 12, Monday @ Mililani Memorial, Mauka Chapel viewing @ 530pm, service @ 630pm.
