Jimmie Paulino
78, of Ewa Beach, died on June 16, 2019, surrounded by family at the Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu. He was born on July, 7, 1940 In Ewa, Oahu. His parents were the late Elpidio and Filomena (Bernabe) Paulino. Jimmie was a graduate of Waipahu High School (1958) and the University of Hawaii, Manoa, School of Social Work, Master's Degree Program (1969). His career as a social worker led him to work in various fields with several agencies. The following agencies were: Family Court, Catholic Social Services, Kahi Mohala, and the State of Hawaii/Judiciary, where he retired in 2005. Jimmie was a member of the Manana Parks and Recreation Center Tai Chi advanced classes and was a member of the Leeward YMCA (Tai Chi/Fan/Sword). He also served with the Pali Momi Volunteer Services Program for 13 years. He is survived by Cynthia, his beloved wife of 50 years, daughters; Ashlynn (Duke) Book, Alexa Paulino (Arthur Couch Jr,); sisters- Susan (Tony-deceased) Mayonado and Geri Paulino; brother, Joey (Michelle) Paulino; grandsons- Ethan and Elijah Book, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services; Monday, August 19, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel. Visitation: 8:30am; Services: 10:00am. Burial: 11:00am
