80, of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away peacefully with his daughter, son and daughter-in-law at his side on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Born in Lihue, Kauai to Frances and Kiyoshi Mizutani on January 5, 1939, he was the second of three children. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Hawaiian Telephone Company with 35 years of service. He was a loving son, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He is survived by his daughter Kehau (Eddie) Portugal; son Ron (Paige); grandchildren: Jonah, Sarah, Holly, Nakoa, Bashia, Dane, Haven and Tai-John; great grandchildren: Seychelle, Aysha, Camren, Mahina, Styrone, Julianna, Kahilei and Rylee-Ann; Sisters: Rose (Robert; deceased) Souza; Crystal (George) Costa; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services to be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 Borthwick Mortuary, Mauka Chapel, Honolulu. Visitation: 11:30 a.m.; Services: 12:30 p.m.; Lunch: 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. Burial: 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery.
