Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2019, at the age of 81. She is survived by her beloved partner of over 30 years, Ronnie Fo; daughters: Monica Oshiro, Pamela Oshiro-Taylor (Tracy) and Susan Toyama (Derek); grandsons: Matthew Fischer, Keenan Fischer, Alexander Taylor and Ethan Toyama; and sister: Carolyn Shacter. Jean was outgoing and friendly to everyone. She worked at many different occupations including computer programming and wedding planning. She was always on the go, but made time for anyone who needed a sympathetic ear. She was very compassionate and generous. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Private services held.
