Naoko "Nana" Fischer, 78, of Mililani, passed away July 17, 2019 at Pali Momi Medical Center. Nana was born in Okinawa, Japan in 1941 and moved to Hawaii in the late '70s. She worked as a waitress for several years until she retired in 1986 and became a fulltime housewife; always giving and never expecting anything in return. She had many friends, especially the staff and patients at both the Pearlridge and Mililani Dialysis Centers. She will be sorely missed. She is survived by her husband, Larry D. Fischer; daughter, Kathleen Bee; son, Terry L. Fischer; grand- daughter, Samantha (Brittney) Albeso; grandsons, Jonah Bee, Braxton Fischer and, Noah Remigio. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Oahu Cemetery Chapel; Burial 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery. Arrangements Provided By: Leeward Funeral Home
