71, of Mililani, Hawaii passed away one year ago on August 19th, 2018 after his struggle with cancer. George is survived by his wife Lynn of 41 years, sons Matthew and Aaron, daughter Jaclyn and grandson Isaiah. George was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a friend to everyone. George was a waterman. He loved surfing, diving, fishing and swimming. He worked at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard for 33 years and ran his diving business, his passion, until he no longer could. He loved competing. George accomplished over a dozen rough water swims and tin man races, competed in spearfishing tournaments and competed in many surfing competitions. He had a passion for surfing and would plan his days according to the surf. George has been laid to rest at his favorite surf spot at Kewalo Basin.
