97, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2019 at St. Francis Hospice in Nuuanu. She was born in Koloa, Kauai on October 25, 1921 and moved to Mililani in 2002 to live with her son Lester and his wife Brandie. She was preceded in death by husband, Isamu (Callahan), son Keith, daughter Eileen (Bruce) Yoshinaka, sisters: Katsuko Takahashi, Itsue Ikehara and Katherine Urabe and brothers: Takeshi (Alice), Tatsuo (Julie) and Toshio (Setsuko) Kobayashi. Kikuyo is survived by son Lester (Brandie) Inouye, son-in-law Bruce Yoshinaka, grandchildren Chad (Michelle) Yoshinaka, Darin Yoshinaka, Allison Inouye, Melissa Inouye, Megan (Aaron) Small, great-grandchildren: Brandon, Jessica and Jordan Yoshinaka and Chloe and Ari Small and brothers: Shizuo (Joan), Stanley (Bette) and James (Lilian) Kobayashi. Mahalo to all the family and friends who visited her and to the staff of the 6th Floor at Pali Momi Medical Center, 2nd Floor Avalon Care Center and St. Francis Hospice for all their wonderful care and support.
