Raymond Isao Yoshino, 89, of Hilo, died Aug. 6, 2019 at home. Born June 28, 1930, in Honolulu, he was a retired Hilo High School math teacher, US Army veteran and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin and various golf clubs. Private services held. Survived by wife, Etsuko Yoshino of Hilo; daughters, Alison (Phillip) Williams of Seaside, Calif., Faye (Mark) Beveridge of Pepeekeo; son, Andrew Yoshino of Hilo; brothers, Robert (Irene) Yoshino of Aiea, Roy (Harriet) Yoshino of Honolulu; sisters, Doris Kusuda of Camarillo, Calif., Ellen (Roy) Inouchi of Honolulu; four grandchildren, Krista, Tyler, Melanie, and Nicholas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and sisters-in-law.
