On Friday, August 16, 2019, Drake Yomono, loving husband and father, passed away at age 63. Drake was born on January 16, 1956 in Honolulu to Douglas and Betty (Nitta) Yomono. He worked in the trucking and warehousing industry for over 40 years of his life. On October 20, 1990, he married Jane Yomono. Together they raised a daughter, Jadyne. Drake had a passion for his career, learning, teaching, and fishing. He spent most of his weekends during his younger years fishing with friends and family. He loved camping and going on fishing tournaments. He also loved watching movies and simply being able to unwind and relax at home with his family. He was known for his quick wit, thoughtfulness, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Drake is survived by his wife Jane; his daughter Jadyne, his mother Betty; his brother Brian, and several aunts and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; visitation 5:00 pm and service 6:00 pm. Flowers welcome. No roses, please.
