Passed away peacefully on August 23, 2019 at age 98. She was born on March 15, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly after World War II ended she moved to Honolulu to help with the processing of troops returning from the Pacific Theater. In the course of her job she met her future husband, Herbert Nishihara, who was in the Military Intelligence Service of the 442nd Infantry Division. They married and raised six sons. She was an active member of Saint Pius X Church in Manoa for many years. She is predeceased by her husband Herbert and son John and is survived by sons Keith (Catherine), Dennis (Gail), Paul (Doris), David (Sharene), and Steven (Amy) and six grandchildren: Robert, Naomi, Jeffrey, Andrew, Tyson, and Kimi. Anne's children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a warm and gracious lady whose smile will live on in our hearts. Private graveside services will be held.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
