78, passed away on August 14, 2019 at her home in Wahiawa. She was born on October 25, 1940 at Ewa General Hospital to Romalda Gumtang and Basilio Respecio Pascual. She was married to Solomon Lunaolelo Kuni, Jr. (deceased). She worked for Servco Motors, Rusty's Florist, served as Secretary for the Wahiawa Bowling League, and a representative for Avon Products. Her greatest life's work was caring for and nurturing her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her Daughters, Jody (Russell) Murphy, Josette (David) Hethcote, hanai-daughter Bonnie Fermahin; Sons, Anthony (Joji) Kuni, Jerome Kuni, Austin (Terry) Kuni; 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grand- children; Sister Juanita Pascual Ladon Ito, and sister-in-law Brenda Sumile Pascual and many nieces, nephews, cousins and long-time family friends. She is preceded in death by Brothers Tranquilino (Felicidad) Pascual, Domingo (Marquita) Pascual, Henry (Brenda) Pascual. Carol was an avid bowler and was devoted to her family and friends. She was first to help on all family and friend events, and was always found happily working behind the scenes. She will be remembered for her friendship, her selflessness, take-charge personality, and especially her willingness to give a helping hand. She was the family historian and was constantly updating the Gumtang-Pascual family tree. We will remember the love she showered on all who knew her and we will miss her presence forever. Visitation will be 5:30 pm Monday September 16, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel. Funeral service at 6:30 pm. Final Farewell, scattering of ashes by family, will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday September 18, 2019 at Haleiwa Ali'i Beach.
