Age 85, went to Heaven on Friday, August 16, 2019 while in Hospice @ Wahiawa General Hospital Long Term Care. The eldest of 4 children, Penny was born on January 19, 1934 in Waialua, Hawaii @ Waialua Hospital to Mileton and Bonifacia Pocot Grado. She was a cook/prep cook for over 40 years at several eateries in the Haleiwa/Waialua area. Dawn's Place, Snow Fire, Country Drive-In just to name a few and lastly the infamous Pizza Bobs of Haleiwa where she was well-known for her Portuguese Bean Soup. She is Survived by her Husband of 68 years, Benjamin Ballesteros Sr. CHILDREN: Benjamin Ballesteros Jr (Cheryl), Patricia Wong (Calvin Jr), Paulette Rivera (Chuck), Laurie Ballesteros (Germaine) and Francine Perreira (Jerry Jr). GRANDCHILDREN: Calvin (Chanda), Peni (Beau), Jarrod, Christopher (Angela), Nolan (Ashley), Jodi (Anthony), Jerry III, Marisa (Ryan), Justin (Sarah), Jessica, and Jordan. GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Charee (Chase), Micah, Cheye, Cherysh, Kaianne, Chaeli, Brooklen, Brianna, Ezekiel, Ellianah, Calvin IV, Chasen, Nicholas, Ashtin, Urijah, Aiden, Oraelia, and Jaxx. GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Charlee; BROTHERS: Fausto Grado (Phyllis), Michael Grado (Adele deceased) and SISTER Carol Shackelfurd. Also, many many nephews and nieces. Penny's greatest joy was being with her entire family, especially all her grandchildren.
