John Affonso, 69 of Honolulu died on Friday August 30, 2019 surrounded by his loved ones at Queen's Medical Center. He retired from Hawaiian Electric Company after working 44 years as an electrician. He is survived by mother Lena, wife Ally, and 3 children- Aaron (Andrea), Ashlee, and Amanda, brother William (Dyanne) and sister Caroline (Leonard), and granddaughters Audrianna, Andie, and Nicole. A celebration of life will be held on September 18, 2019 at the Waikiki Elks Lodge. Visitation will begin at 10am, service will begin at 11am, with drinks and pupu to follow.
