89, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on August 19, 2019. George is survived by son, David, sister, Kim (Cowser), and grandchildren, Jenna-lyn, Nathanael, Zachary, Sarah-Jane, Jacob, Bethe-Ann, Claire, Tyler, Fono, and Ashley-Jane. Also by his many loving great-grand- children, nieces, nephews, and extended family. George was a loving and dedicated brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to so many. George was an accomplished high school athlete and student. His hard work ethic carried on in to adulthood when he began a career at First Insurance Company of Hawaii. He started in the mailroom and retired as Vice President. While he exceled and loved his job nothing could compare to the love he had for his family. He would spend any and all time with them. He loved watching Notre Dame football, enjoyed watching his grand- children play, and catching up with his children. George never forgot his alma mater, Saint Louis, and would donate frequently. He also is honored on the YMCA Honolulu "Mahalo" wall as he had been a member and donor for more than 40 years. A special thank you to Freda, Shauny, Abby, and people of Care Home AMA for their loving care and support during his final days. Thank you could never be enough. Visitation and service will be from 4:30pm-8pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park on Friday, September 27, 2019. Aloha attired is requested.
