Renée Aimee Chanteloup Hampton
Renée Aimee Chanteloup HamptonRenée, born in Hawaii in 1948, began her journey into eternal life on July 26, 2019 surrounded in spirit and in presence by family and friends. Of Chinese/French heritage, Renée was born and raised in Honolulu where Hanahau`oli and Punahou schools helped shape the morality and character that she carried throughout her life. She attended San Francisco College for Women where she fell in love with the diverse and vibrant cuisine, people, and experiences of the city. Her professional career was highlighted by 20 years as Executive Assistant to the MacNaughton Group. She went on to become a successful, Aloha Aina Award-winning Realtor for both Kahala Associates & List Sotheby's International Realty. Renée is remembered as the loving wife of 46 years to Ed Hampton, a devoted and adoring mother to her son, Tyler and his wife Patty, doting popo to Mason and "Gemma girl", hanai mom to Eric and Shannon, sister-in-law to Bob and Kay Hampton, extended family and a treasured friend to many throughout the world. She will always be celebrated for her strength of character, generosity of spirit, elegance, dignity, courage and timeless beauty inside and out. Her Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 12, 2019 Central Union Church, 1660 South Beretania Street Visitation: 3:00 p.m.; Service: 4:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Parish Hall.
