Robert Finlay passed away peacefully, on August 29, 2019, surrounded by family. Born in Haleiwa and raised in both Colorado and Hawai'i, Bill was the eldest of six. Bill's work crossed many sectors - from the state of California to Caesar's Palace in Lake Tahoe to the Hawai'i Republican Party. Bill is survived by partner Patti Look; daughters Larissa Finlay (Tommy Day) and Heather Brown (Stanley Kim); son Ryan Ridela (Cherene Ridela); mo'opuna Bailey Day and Kaitlin Ridela; brother Andy Finlay, sisters Marilyn Everett and Carolyn Inman and their families; aunties and uncles; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Bill will be remembered with love, for his humor, patience, and kindness. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Waialae Country Club.
