LEONARD MAC MCKENZIE, SR. 86, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away on September 1, 2019 in Wahiawa, Hawaii following a brief illness. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Waipahu High School in 1950 and shortly after joined the Army during the Korean War (1950-1953). After honorably separating from the Army he served 34 years for Hawaiian Electric company until his retirement in 1987. He was an avid tennis player and enjoyed traveling with his companion, Dora Louis. He is survived by sons, Leonard M. McKenzie Jr. (Timpra), Mark S. McKenzie, Shawn T. McKenzie (Marlene), Shannon P. McKenzie (Elinor); daughters, Sheila K. Kurosu, Kelly-Anne H. Green (Mark); brothers, Hugh McKenzie Jr. (Helen), Patricia Ornellas (Donald); 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:30 pm Friday, October 11, 2019 at Mililani Memorial Park and Mortuary's Mauka Chapel. Funeral service at 6:30 pm. Aloha attire, flowers welcome.
