HELEN RURIKO WATANABE 82, of Pearl City, Hawaii passed away on August 28, 2019 at the Queen's Medical Center, West Oahu in Ewa Beach. She was born in Na'alehu, Ka'u, Hawaii. She was a teacher for 33 years and retired from Palisades Elementary School. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ralph; son, Kyle (Wendy) Watanabe; daughter, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Asato; grandchildren: Tory, Jacy & Jaydon Watanabe, Anja & Zachary Asato, & Brandon Ishikawa; brothers: Richard (Loretta) Taise & James (Dianne) Taise; sisters: Alice (Iwao) Yonemitsu & Nancy (Richard) Kado & many brothers & sisters-in-law, nephews & nieces. Visitation: 5:00 p.m.; Services: 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at Mililani Mortuary, Mauka Chapel.
