92, of Lihue, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 6, 2019. A former publisher of The Garden Island Newspaper, he was preceded in death by daughter Cheryl and recently by wife Diane. He is survived by brother Tokio (Helen) Uyeno & extended family Rona & Calvin Sakai and Roberta & Sidney Yanagawa. Funeral services will be held on Sat., Oct. 12, 2019 at Lihue Christian Church. Visitation will be from 10-11am & service to follow.
