WALLY PARCELS
Our sweet husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Wally Parcels left us for Heaven on November 1, 2018. Although we miss him terribly, his work on earth was done. After surfing in Hawaii in the 60's and 70's, he dreamed of moving to Hawaii permanently. In 1984, his dream came true when he moved his family to Oahu and opened the first of two BIKEFACTORY Sportshops. He delighted in being a businessman and spent the next 34 years in his shorts, Aloha Shirts, and Scott Slippers; greeting his customers and finding the newest trends. He was responsible for bringing Rollerblades, Heelys, Crocs, Razor Scooters, and Hydro Flasks to the Islands. He was a mentor to his son Mitch, and prepared him to step into his slippers when he retired. His lifelong passion for travel started as a ham radio operator when he was just a boy. In the last 7 years, he and Kathy cruised the world enjoying life to the fullest. Wally is survived by his wife Kathy, sons: Troy (Lori), Mitch (Kazusa), daughter Kellie, hanai son Todd Osborn and grand- children: Trevor, Cameron, Brandon, Ka'ena and Kahana. A "Celebration of Life" will be held at BIKEFACTORY town shop (740 Ala Moana Blvd) on November 3, 2019 from 3 to 6pm. We look forward to sharing his life with you.
Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
