57, of Waikoloa Hawaii, formerly of Bowling Green Ohio, passed away on September 30, 2019. Polly and her Mother, Beverly Zanger, moved to Hawaii in 1996. Polly was the Assistant Airports Superintendent V, the 3rd highest position in the Hawaii Airports District - which includes Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole, Hilo International Airport, Waimea-Kohala Airport and Upolu Airport. She had worked at the airport for over 23 years in several capacities. Polly loved her life in Hawaii and grew to know Hawaii as if she had lived there her whole life. Polly was someone who was vibrant and caring. Her love for life was always evident with her ready smile. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and co-workers. Polly graduated from Bowling Green high school, Bowling Green, Ohio and received her bachelors degree from Bowling Green University. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Zanger and her Mother, Beverly Kennedy Zanger. She is survived by her brother, Jack Zanger and wife, Carrie of Amarillo, Texas, her Aunt, Mary Kennedy Minter and husband, Robert of Durham, North Carolina and many cousins and dear friends.
